Tungsten occurs in many forms in industry
In addition to tungsten carbide (WC), we also handle metallic tungsten and technical tungsten alloys. These materials can originate from electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy, high-temperature applications, tool production and special constructions.

Metallic tungsten, heavy alloys and cemented carbide are different material groups
Cemented carbide is typically a sintered WC-based composite with a metallic binder. Tungsten heavy alloys, by contrast, are metallic materials with a high proportion of tungsten and other elements such as nickel, iron, copper or cobalt. Correct material classification is therefore important for valuation.
Markings or analysis help with technical alloys
If you have a material designation, technical data sheet, spectrometric analysis or information about the material origin, classification and valuation are much faster. For recurring production residues, a regular collection method can be set up by agreement.
Purchasing high-purity W 99.9% tungsten
We also purchase metallic tungsten with declared W 99.9% composition. Material may be supplied as pieces, sheet and plate offcuts, wire and coils, mesh, rods, electrodes or other technical production scrap.
W 99.9% and other pure W forms
For high-purity tungsten, declared or verified composition is essential. Metallic W is classified separately from WC-Co cemented carbide and tungsten heavy alloys.

Production scrap and warehouse stocks

In industry, in addition to chemical designations W-Ni-Fe, W-Ni-Cu or W-Ni-Co, the general term tungsten heavy alloy, heavy metal or various trade names. For purchasing, the name is not decisive; actual material composition and tungsten content are.
Typical inputs can include balancing elements, shielding parts, machined components, offcuts, rejects or turnings from these alloys.
For quick classification, it helps to provide
Designation: WNiFe, WNiCu, WNiCo, WCu or a trade name.
Origin: which part or production operation generated the material.
Form: pieces, offcuts, turnings, contacts, electrodes or other components.
Analysis: if a spectrometric or laboratory result exists, attach it to the offer.

Tungsten-copper materials
Our tungsten-material purchasing also includes WCu – tungsten copper.
We purchase WCu contacts, electrodes, pieces, plates, blocks and production residues. It is an industrial material used, among other things, for electrical contacts and thermal-management components.

Tungsten coils, baskets and filaments from coating
We also purchase tungsten coils and evaporation heating elements used in vacuum evaporation. Industrial tungsten coils serve as high-temperature sources, including for vacuum metallization with aluminium.
Correct analysis is crucial for tungsten alloys
Two visually similar parts can have different tungsten content and different alloying elements. Tungsten heavy alloys commonly include W-Ni-Fe, W-Ni-Cu and, in practice, W-Ni-Co combinations. Without knowing the material grade, it is therefore not reasonable to infer price solely from density or appearance.
For recurring production turnings, solid offcuts or specific alloys, the fastest approach is to use material designation, production documentation or analysis. This eliminates the risk of confusion with other heavy metals and alloys.
