WC-Co cemented carbide hard scrap
A mix of segments, blocks, inserts and other discarded carbide parts.
Dies, punches, drawing dies, sleeves, rings, segments, wear parts, blanks and other atypical cemented-carbide pieces. In short: carbide that is neither a standard indexable insert nor a solid carbide drill or end mill.
This category covers solid sintered carbide parts in which carbide is the main material. In practice it includes a very broad range of geometrically different components used for forming, pressing, drawing, guiding, sealing, wear resistance and other demanding industrial applications.
We accept clean pieces as well as mixed stocks of different sizes. Material may be worn, cracked, coated, broken or size-reduced. Parts connected to steel or another carrier are classified as combined material and handled according to their construction.
If it is cemented carbide or you suspect WC-Co, we can classify the material by type, construction and composition.
We use a separate category for all sintered carbide pieces that do not fall under standard carbide inserts or solid rotary tools.

Larger carbide rings, segments and broken pieces.
A mix of cemented-carbide hard scrap from tooling and production.
Different geometries, sleeves, blanks and technical parts.
Size-reduced and damaged pieces of cemented carbide.
Mixture of larger and smaller pieces intended for material processing.
Carbide working parts of various shapes and sizes.
WC-Co parts from pressing, forming and other industrial applications.
Worn WC-Co pieces and segments from mining equipment.
Because of its combination of high hardness, compressive strength and wear resistance, WC-Co is also used in pressing, drawing and forming tools, wear-resistant components and other highly stressed working parts. Carbide hard scrap can therefore range from a small punch to a massive ring, block or structural insert.
For purchasing, it is not important whether the piece is still usable as a tool. What matters is the material, quantity, any steel, braze or other carrier present, and the overall nature of the stock.

Yes. Tool functionality is not decisive for purchasing. We handle worn, damaged and size-reduced pieces.
No. Mixtures of different geometries and sizes can be assessed together. For larger or unusual stocks, please provide the approximate quantity and material origin.
Carbide hard scrap covers far more than dies and inserts. We assess robust WC-Co components from tooling, production, mining and wear applications, including shaped blanks and atypical technical parts.
Yes. Standalone and combined WC-Co rings, rolls and wear components can be assessed.
Yes. Carbide rods, nozzles and atypical shaped WC-Co components are included.
Send the material type, approximate quantity and location. For larger stocks we arrange collection and logistics.
